With stucco-roofed hacienda style architecture and pleasant exterior art features, the Senior Center as it's informally known is a bee-hive of activities. From fitness classes to art workshops (ceramics and watercolor), dancing classes and events, hands-on cooking demos, an international conversation program, the Pen Pal Club (with local elementary school kids) and many more classes, Davis's 60 and older population finds many ways to keep busy here. Ongoing events and classes are listed every month in Senior Scene, the facility's newsletter, available online. In addition, there are free computers with Internet access and free Wi-Fi is available for all ages. Computer tutoring is also featured; patrons may bring their own laptop or learn on one of the facility computers.

The Elderly Nutrition Program and Friendship Cafe offers well-balanced and nutritious meals served every day at 11:30am. Suggested donation is $3; $7 for diners under 60 years of age.

Free movies are shown Fridays beginning at 12:15pm. Other events include Wii Wednesdays, Bingo and the Hem and Haw Knitting Club.

Once a month, seniors with questions about Social Security or their veteran status may meet with government representatives here as well.

The Senior Center is managed under the auspices of the City of Davis Community Services Department.
