<p>Freeborn Hall, built in 1961, is named for longtime UC Davis chancellor Stanley Freeborn. The facility was the largest entertainment and performing arts center on campus until Mondavi Center was completed in 2003. Today, Freeborn Hall hosts music concerts, silent auctions, dances, wedding receptions, fundraising banquets, fairs and much more.</p>
<p>Lower Freeborn Hall, in the basement under the auditorium (accessible by tunnel from MU Games Area), includes the offices and studios of KDVS Radio, the California Aggie newspaper office and other student facilities.</p>
