Konditorei Austrian Pastry Cafe

<p>Konditorei Austrian Pastry Cafe sits on 5th Street near Ink Monkey Graphics and the Davis Police Station. Owned and operated locally by Albert and Gloria Kutternig in Davis for the last 20 years, it features authentic Austrian pastries hand made by Mr. Kuttering. Mr. Kuttering is professionally-trained and comes from a family of bakers, and he's been making pastries for over 35 years. Along with an impressive array of food for breakfast and lunch, the cafe also touts homemade gelato that promises "You'll never settle for ice cream again."  </p> <p>Konditorei, which means pastry shop in old German, seats 60 inside and 20 on the patio. Catering services apply only to desserts and pastries. It has received award and recognition from The Sacramento Bee, The Davis Enterprise and many others. It is located on the 'A' bus route. </p>
