<p>The Forestry & Fire Protection Department's mission is to serve and protect the people and resources of California against wildfires, floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters. It publicizes events such as National Fire Awareness Week and trains other government agencies in disaster response.</p> <p>The Davis location specializes in cone and seed processing and works toward reforestation efforts. It does not sell seed to the general public. </p>
